Clean water & energy
The foundation for healthy, thriving lives.
Partner with us & Wilde Ganzen!
Building on this progress, we are developing a new water initiative in partnership with Wilde Ganzen to install rainwater harvesting systems for 133 households in the Kagarama community, where families currently walk more than four hours daily to access water. We are actively seeking support to bring this project to life and expand our impact to more communities in need.
Reliable access to clean water and energy is essential for healthy, dignified living and plays a critical role in children’s wellbeing. At Chase a Better Tomorrow, we support vulnerable families by improving access to nearby clean water sources while promoting hygiene and sanitation practices that prevent disease and reduce daily hardship.
In many communities, children, especially girls, spend hours each day fetching water, limiting time for school, rest, and personal development. By bringing water closer to home, we help ease this burden, improving school attendance, health outcomes, and children’s mental wellbeing.
With support from Engineers Without Borders Cincinnati Chapter, we have successfully connected GS Nyarurama to a government water pipeline, constructed a 10,000-liter stone masonry tank, a six-sink dishwashing station, and a four-tap drinking water point, serving over 2,100 students and 40 teachers. In the Gikingo community, we have also protected an open spring and developed clean water infrastructure now serving more than 700 individuals, directly improving access for families and children.
